New Year Blessings

We added three more children to the Golden Village just before Christmas. Adua and Sara join Regna at the home of George and Anna. Regina was so lonesome for some "girlfriends" and we'll be hearing lots more giggles from the girls' bedroom now.

Maouli joins the boys in the dorm.

The children all learned Christmas Carols and memory verses to perform at the church and to perform via speaker phone for "Uncle, Uncle" Remember, not long ago these children could barely speak Tsi. Now they're singing songs and reciting memory verses in English!


The well came in! Golden Village got water for Christmas. The electrical infrastructure will begin next week so we should have electricity to the site by the end of January. Once that's done, we can begin the final interior work on Cottage 1 and get the house wired and plumbed so these children can have a real home!

The Genesis Church team is hard at work getting laptops together so our children can learn to use the computer. We're also looking to put an internet cafe in where once there was a bar (pictured below)...how's that for a conversion?
